How to know it is time to seek support
Continuing our Q&A series on Holistic Counselling, another question I get asked is:
“How do I know it is time to seek support?”
Many of my clients and the niche I work in have a common thread and that is an inner strength like no other.
This inner strength means a natural inkling to do things alone.
Do you find yourself doing everything yourself?
If you answered ‘YES’ to this question, welcome into the fold, you are very much like many of my clients, so you are not alone.
There are many reasons and causes that see you feeling the need to do everything for yourself.
One particular trend I have noticed is Independence as a trauma response, a learned behaviour from past experiences in an attempt to feel safe.
